Population growth in the Tamale Metropolis: a blessing or a curse to housing

In recent times the effects of population growth on housing is globally underscored. This calls for attention how needs are met by populations in developing countries due to limited individual and state resources. study, therefore, examines Tamale Metropolis resorting mixed methods research design. The study relied such as questionnaire administration key informant interviews primary data collection addition secondary data. sample size was 100 respondents apportioned sampled communities (Sakasaka, Target, Lamashegu, Aboabo, Zogbeli) bases their populations. Quantitative analysis done using descriptive statistics component Statistical Package Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21 presented with tables while qualitative content quotations. As part findings, disclosed that has been galloping factors high fertility, positive net migration, low mortality emanating from improvement healthcare delivery metropolis. recommends intensification public-private partnerships provision.
